Our Mission...
The Musconetcong Valley Community Association (MVCA) is a
charitable, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which addresses the
needs of the residents of the Morris/Warren County-Musconetcong
Valley Area by promoting a wholesome social environment through
physical, cultural, and educational programs.
Summer Camps

Information has been posted
for Camp Musconetcong (Rock Spring Park, Long Valley), Clover View
Camp (Turkey Brook Park, Budd Lake), Explorers Camp, and Nature Camp
(Long Valley).

May 2012 Great
Meadows Babysitting Course
This class will train
teenagers in the art of babysitting. Emphasis will be on
safety issues and childcare skills. Participants will learn
basic first aid, infant care, child development, recreational ideas,
and positive discipline techniques for all ages of children.
They will receive information on how to "start their business."
Safety issues will be covered and each class member will make a
simple first aid kid and a decorative activity bag to take along on
their babysitting jobs.
This class will be
held at the Great Meadows Middle School on Tuesday, May 22, and
Wednesday, May 23 from dismissal to 5:30pm.
Center Stage Summer 2012
As part of our highly popular
performing arts series, join us this summer for our special theater
arts program for students age 6 and up. Rehersals will be
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
Summer 2012
Backyard Swim Program
Join us as our certified and
insured swim instructor comes to your pool to teach lessons.
Lessons are available for children age 3+ or adults with any
swimming ability. Our goal is to introduce and enhance various
swim techniques in a fun and relaxed environment. Lessons are
offered to families in Long Valley and neighboring towns.
School Age Child Care Programs
2012-2013
The MVCA offers After
School Care at Old Farmers Road School in Long Valley.
Transportation to this program is available from Kossmann/Flocktown, Cucinella, and the Long Valley Middle School.
Additionally, Before School Care is available at OFRS starting at
7am.
