Summer Camp 2009

Camp Musconetcong is located at Rock Spring Park on Schooley's Mountain Road and East Springtown Road is Long Valley.  Campers swim twice a week at Hackettstown Community Pool, and travel on a full day trip each week.  Camp activities include sports skills, arts and crafts, games, science and nature, music, skits, cooking, service projects, hikes, and barbeques.  Rock Spring Park boasts a large open air pavilion, sports fields, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts.  Camp Musconetcong is for children entering Kindergarten through fifth grade.

Clover View Camp celebrates its seventh year of service to the Mount Olive area.  Clover View Camp is held at Turkey Brook Park.  Campers swim twice each week, and travel on a full day trip once a week.  Camp activities include games, science, cooking, service projects, arts and crafts, sports skills, contests, and teambuilding activities.  Clover View has historically provided a smaller camp experience with emphasis on group activities.  Clover View Camp is for children entering Kindergarten through fifth grade.

Explorers camp is for students in 6th grade to 8th grade.  Each program day, the Explorers travel to entertaining destinations in the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania area.  Explorers campers can be picked up and dropped off at Camp Musconetcong, Clover View Camp, and Liberty Meadows bus stop.  The summer is sure to include swimming, bowling, movies, tours, amusement parks, museums, sports, and all kinds of outdoor activities.

Nature Camp is an outdoor nature summer camp program for children ages 4 to 6 years old.  The program is located near the tennis courts at Rock Spring Park in Long Valley.  The program offers our youngest campers an opportunity to enjoy nature based activities, arts and crafts, story time, and guest speakers.  In addition to our two-week geographical theme, we will explore wildlife native to New Jersey.  Local field trips are planned for each session.

The Counselor in Training program is a four week program open to students entering 9th and 10th grades.  It is offered at Camp Musconetcong and Clover View Camp.  Instructed by program directors and senior staff members, students learn about group dynamics, child development, positive discipline, first aid, activity planning, leadership, and positive attitude.  They use their knowledge while working with counselors in a group setting.
